The EAR CANDY Kontakt Instrument is a dynamic virtual percussion kit featuring nearly limitless functionality. Crafted with real, live claps, stomps, snaps and more, and recorded and mixed on vintage analog gear, EAR CANDY offers the versatility you need to ground a songwriting session or take a track to the next level.

The EAR CANDY Kontakt Instrument was expertly designed and programmed to put our library of vibrant percussive sounds into a completely customizable package. Featuring 18 unique multi-sampled percussion sounds with three character modes (Dry, Dirty, and Tape), 7 factory presets, an impulse response-based multi-position space emulation system, and 8 customizable spaces for atmospheric sounds, this Kontakt instrument was created for musicians, by musicians.

We included 3 mix variations so you can decide your vibe:

DRY: Our cleanest mix, recorded and mixed down with minimal processing so you can shape the sound.

DIRTY: This mix has some drive texture. We mixed it through a chain of analog distortion gear. 

TAPE: This mix was run through our 1/4" tape machine. It sounds slightly warmer and bigger and offers a subtle but distinct variation.

The EAR CANDY Kontakt Instrument features a user-driven, minimalist interface that leaves creativity entirely in your hands. Within the interface, you can customize sounds to suit your track:

• Adjust volume and tune percussion samples
• Choose from 3 character modes to refine your sounds and suit your tracks
• Activate individual sounds
• Choose from 8 customizable spaces, including small, medium, and big rooms, a church, a stadium, and three different tape echoes
• Adjust the low-cut and pre-delay for each space
• Move sounds within your selected space to pan sounds, create depth, or focus sounds
• Quickly and easily launch a session with our 7 included presets
• Build percussion tracks from scratch to level-up a mix or create a base for songwriting
• Easily map the MIDI notes for each sound
• Flexible routing is available for you to route the sounds separately into your DAW
