The VINTAGE MODERN Kontakt Instrument is a dynamic, buildable drum kit featuring customizable drum sounds recorded and mixed through analog gear in an attempt to capture that vintage studio magic.

The VINTAGE MODERN Kontakt Instrument puts creativity in your hands, and right in your DAW. Featuring 32 vintage drum sounds and 12 factory presets, VINTAGE MODERN will bring some of that old school studio magic to your tracks with a modern twist of functionality.

Looking for even more control over your sounds? Each VINTAGE MODERN sound comes with 4 character modes (Huge, Natural, Tape, and Room), plus 6 round robins and 5 velocity layers. Tune and mix the drums to fit your track within the intuitive built-in mixing interface.

We included 4 character modes so you can decide your vibe:

HUGE: Recorded and mixed to sound huge. Punchy and a little bit of our own reverb added to the blend. 

NATURAL: Natural beauties. An evenly balanced blend of close mics, overheads, and room mics to make it sound like your sitting in front of the kit or near it. 

TAPE: Looking for a saturated sound? This is a blend of microphones sent through our tape machine for that extra vintage modern vibe. 

ROOM: Raw, spacey, and slightly unhinged. These sounds make you feel like you're in the garage with the drums. Recorded and mixed using room mics and limiter compression.

The VINTAGE MODERN Kontakt Instrument comes with a variety of sounds recorded live in our studio and processed through analog tape machines, and outboard gear.

• Mix directly in the interface with built-in mixing tools for volume, panning, master, and room reverb
• Quickly and easily launch a session with our 12 included presets
• Build drum tracks from scratch to level-up a mix or create a base for songwriting
• Easily map the MIDI notes for each sound
• Flexible routing is available for you to route the sounds separately into your DA2
